Buyer Beacon is an online marketplace developed by Hera Realty Group to connect on-market buyers with off-market sellers. Whether you're a buyer searching beyond the MLS, a seller looking for privacy, or an agent seeking to deliver more value to your clients, Buyer Beacon gives you a competitive edge in today’s real estate market.
How it works:
Buyers create a search profile detailing exactly what they’re looking for—location, price range, style, must-haves, etc. Once your profile is live, you'll gain access to office-exclusive and For Sale By Owner (FSBO) listings that match your criteria. These homes aren’t on Zillow, the MLS, or any public site—they’re only visible to buyers with a matching profile.
At the same time, sellers with off-market homes can view active buyer profiles and reach out if your search aligns with their property. Whether it’s an agent holding a private listing or a homeowner testing the waters, you’ll be seen by sellers who weren’t even on the market—until now.

Creating a profile gives you a way to broadcast that you are looking for a home so sellers can find you. Once you create your buyer beacon profile, you will also unlock access to any off-market properties that match your search- including office exclusives and FSBO’s - not available to the public.

Buyer profiles do not include any personal information and only display search criteria, like towns, type of home, and price range. Your name and contact information is always hidden and never visible on your profile.

Buyers that are using an agent will have their agent’s contact information posted on their search profile. This allows sellers to connect directly with their agent so all communicate can go through them as intended.

If you are a serious buyer without agent representation, you can still create a search profile to find matching homes. Sellers can send you a message that will be forwarded to your email, and the it is up to you to respond.
Agents

No. Any buyer search profiles that are added by an agent will have the agent clearly displayed as their representative. Anyone that is interested in contacting your buyer will have to go through you - as intended.

Office exclusive listings are not visible unless a buyer has a search profile that matches the listing. For example, anyone searching a specific area will not be able to see details of an office exclusive listing. However, a buyer looking for a 3+ bedroom in a certain area will be able to see any office exclusives that are 3+ bedrooms.

Buyer Beacon lets you send messages directly to the buyers through the platform which will be forwarded via email.
Sellers

Create a profile, select “Activate listing”, and you will be prompted with all of the information you will need to add for the online listing. Once completed, your home will be listed online as a For Sale By Owner (FSBO).

If you are using an agent to sell your home, your agent should be able to list your home through the agent portal. Or, you can list the home yourself and add your agent’s information to the listing so they are the main contact.

You can either do a general search and see what buyers match that same search criteria. Or, once you list your home, you will automatically see a list of buyers that have created a profile that matches your listing.
